Carson City, NV – In response to Governor Sandoval signing into law last night two clean energy bills, SB204 and SB145, and another key energy efficiency bill last week, AB223, Chispa Nevada Director Rudy Zamora issued the following statement:

We applaud Governor Sandoval for signing into law legislation that would increase energy efficiency and incentivize energy storage usage. These bills, made possible by nearly unanimous bipartisan support, will expand our clean energy economy by growing green jobs, promoting energy efficiency, and cutting energy bills – giving working families the flexibility to save dollars for use on health care, education, and other needs. This important step demonstrates Nevada’s tremendous potential for clean energy leadership that protects our environment and our communities.”
