LCV Action Fund Announces New Slate of Endorsements for U.S. House of Representatives

Oct 15, 2025

Washington D.C. – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect candidates who will fight to lower energy costs, build a clean energy economy, and strengthen our democracy for all, announced 15 endorsements for candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives. The endorsements include Representatives Janelle Bynum (OR-05), Laura Friedman (CA-30), Sylvia Garcia (TX-29), Laura Gillen (NY-04), Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Betty McCollum (MN-04), Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Kelly Morrison (MN-03), Delia Ramirez (IL-03), Greg Stanton (AZ-04), George Whitesides (CA-27), and candidates Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Paige Cognetti (PA-08), Rebecca Cooke (WI-03), and JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06).

“Instead of addressing the affordability crisis–from the rising costs of energy to groceries to health care– extreme Republicans in Congress are forcing Trump’s government shutdown to continue handouts to billionaires and corporate polluters, and relentlessly gut the services that lower costs and protect our health and safety. In contrast, our climate champions are fighting for people and the planet,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. “We need to elect a majority in Congress next November that will stand up for our democracy and invest in affordable clean energy to bring down energy costs for everyone, protect our air, water and public lands, and stop Trump from continuing to give away handouts to his Big Polluter and corporate billionaire friends. LCV Action Fund is with our endorsed climate champions all the way to help them win and flip the House in 2026.”

Since the 1990 election cycle, LCVAF has helped elect and re-elect 101 U.S. Senators and 513 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Over the last several years, our efforts have also helped elevate climate change and clean energy as critical issues in key elections.
