“This bill is yet another pro-polluter assault on the EPA’s critical Clean Water Rule, which will protect the drinking water of one in three Americans. Although the public has overwhelmingly called on the EPA to finalize these important safeguards for our nation’s waterways, the Republican House leadership is intent on putting the desires of special interests ahead of clean drinking water for our families. This legislation is nothing but a last-ditch effort to kill these long-overdue protections for our small streams and wetlands with endless delays.”
