Superior, WIToday, President Biden will speak at the University of Wisconsin’s Superior campus, following last night’s State of the Union address to sell his agenda for “Building a Better America”. His address to the nation highlighted the continued need to invest hundreds of billions in new climate mitigation, clean energy incentives, and addressing environmental justice. Alongside his visit, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) will run a digital ad campaign in Superior and surrounding communities urging the President and Congress to finish the job and pass these needed climate investments. This is Congress’ chance to finally pass a bill that addresses climate change at the scale this dire threat deserves.
