Washington, D.C. – In response to the Bureau of Land Management’s new Public Lands Rule, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) issued the following statement from Conservation Program Director America Fitzpatrick:

“In the face of the climate crisis, it’s more important now than ever to make sure our public lands are part of the climate solution. We applaud the Bureau of Land Management’s Public Lands Rule, which would rebalance the management of our public lands, and urge the BLM to continue partnering with Tribal nations and use its administrative tools to protect our land, water, wildlife, and cultural resources.”
