Washington, DC – Today, LCV Victory Fund is announcing the launch of a new nearly $600,000 TV and digital ad campaign in the Wisconsin Senate race against Sen. Ron Johnson. The TV ad in this campaign is part of a $2 million joint partnership with Senate Majority PAC announced on Monday. The digital ads are from LCV Victory Fund solely.

The digital ads are “Where” (with script & backup here), “Stand Up” (with script & backup here) and “Strong” (with script & backup here).  They return to messages that LCV Victory Fund ran in partnership with EDF Action over the summer. They will run through Election Day to targeted voters statewide.

LCV named Sen. Johnson to its signature Dirty Dozen list in June.  LCV and LCV Victory Fund have invested over $1 million to defeat Johnson.

“Where” Transcript:

Voiceover: NASA.  The Department of Defense.  And Ninety Seven Percent of scientists agree – climate change is real.  So where can you find climate change science deniers? At oil companies. And Senator Ron Johnson’s office.

Senator Ron Johnson: “I absolutely do not believe that the science of man-caused climate change is proven.”

Voiceover: Oil companies gave Johnson over three hundred thousand in contributions.  Johnson supports their agenda. We pay the price.
