WASHINGTON, DC—Today Hillary Clinton announced her plans to protect and invest in public lands and waters. In response the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund released the following statement from Tiernan Sittenfeld, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs:

With an increasingly diverse and urbanized population, our nation needs innovative solutions like the ones Hillary Clinton has proposed to ensure that our kids and grandkids are able to play at a nearby park, access our public lands for hiking and camping, and easily secure clean drinking water. Hillary Clinton’s plan for Conservation and Collaborative Stewardship of America’s Great Outdoors will help preserve America’s natural heritage while getting more kids outside and do wonders for our nation’s booming outdoor economy.”
