Washington D.C. – LCV Victory Fund congratulates Colin Allred on his win in Texas’ 32nd congressional district. LCV Victory Fund invested nearly $425,000 in digital ads and get out the vote efforts in Texas.

“We are thrilled that Texas elected voting rights champion Colin Allred,” said Gene Karpinski, LCV President. “From protecting public lands to growing our clean energy economy, the new members of the Texas delegation will be strong leaders for our communities in Washington.”

LCV Victory Fund ran digital ads against incumbent Pete Sessions in the 32nd congressional district and partnered with Priorities USA Action on a get out the vote campaign supporting Allred.

Environmental donors contributed over $500,000 to Texas candidates via GiveGreen. GiveGreen — a partnership between LCV Victory Fund, NextGen America and the NRDC Action Fund PAC that helps grassroots donors directly contribute to pro-environment candidates — raised a record $21 million for the 2018 cycle.

LCV Action Fund endorsed Allred because of his commitment to protecting our environment and growing our clean energy economy. LCV Action Fund also endorsed Beto O’Rourke, Todd Litton, Veronica Escobar, Joseph Kopser, Gina Ortiz Jones, Sylvia Garcia and MJ Hegar.
