The following letter was sent to congressional leaders urging an immediate House vote on H.R. 40, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparations Proposals for African-Americans Act from more than 350 leading civil rights, human rights, faith-based organizations, policy groups, and academic institutions, including LCV.
