On Monday, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) led the following environmental group coalition letter to Congress urging them to support S.914, the Drinking Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Act, which is an important step on the path towards providing all communities in this country with access to clean, safe, and affordable water through authorizing funds to replace lead service lines, the Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Funds — a pilot program at EPA for low-income water assistance, and funding for rural and disadvantaged communities, among other measures. LCV will strongly be considering this vote in the 2021 National Environmental Scorecard.
