The First 100 Days of the Trump Presidency

The first 100 days of Donald Trump’s administration are proving to be an unmitigated disaster for the environment and public health. The new regime has been in overdrive targeting both bedrock environmental protections and recent progress made under President Obama, and quickly establishing itself as the most pro-polluter, anti-environment administration ever. Trump and his cabinet deserve an “F.”

Nearly 100 days into the new administration, and in honor of the upcoming celebration of Earth Day and the Peoples Climate March, LCV is releasing this timeline of anti-environmental actions by the Trump administration and Congress and highlighting the ways that we and our members are working with Congressional champions to fight back.

As we approach the 100th day of the Trump administration, we are proud to play a key role in the Peoples Climate March on April 29, the largest act of environmental resistance to the new administration, and we are confident that our two million members will continue to stand up to Trump’s reckless agenda as we loudly proclaim our commitment to the climate, jobs and justice.
