Washington D.C. – LCV Victory Fund congratulates Jason Crow on his win in Colorado’s 6th congressional district. The group invested nearly $700,000 in TV ads and mail in the race.

“With Jason Crow, Coloradans are sending a clean energy champion to Congress,” said Gene Karpinski, LCV President. “We look forward to his leadership as we work to bring new wind and solar jobs to Colorado and protect the state’s spectacular public lands for future generations.”

Crow’s opponent, incumbent Mike Coffman, was among the first named to LCV Victory Fund’s iconic Dirty Dozen because of his record of siding with corporate polluters. LCV Victory Fund ran an early TV ad that called out Coffman’s votes against our air, water and health.

LCV Action Fund endorsed Crow because of his commitment to tackling climate change head on. LCV Action Fund also endorsed Colorado congressional candidates Joe Neguse and Diane Mitsch Bush. We look forward to a strong pro-environment Colorado delegation in the next Congress.

Additionally, Conservation Colorado Victory Fund invested more than $4.5 million in state elections. The group endorsed Jared Polis for governor, Phil Weiser for attorney general, and a slate of state legislative candidates aimed at flipping the state senate to a pro-environment majority.
