As Trump’s second presidential term is underway with extreme MAGA Republicans controlling the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court, the stakes for our climate and future generations could not be higher. Trump’s extreme and anti-environmental Cabinet picks are doubling down on his dirty and dangerous agenda. But the clean energy economy is here to stay, and we are all in to defend both bedrock environmental laws and the recent climate progress that is creating jobs and lowering energy costs for families across the country.
During Trump’s first term, we focused on blocking his most extreme policies and appointments while making progress in the states. Now, we’re fighting to save not only the Inflation Reduction Act, protections for our clean air, clean water, and our public lands, but also our voting rights, our reproductive rights, immigrant rights, and our democracy itself. While we fight against attacks at the federal level, we’re continuing to advance progress at the state and local level.
