Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) sponsored an amendment to H.R. 1, the so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), which would maintain existing wind and solar tax incentives. These incentives have brought hundreds of billions of dollars in investments to clean energy facilities over the past three years, creating hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs, driving down electricity costs, and boosting reliability. Removing these incentives would stymie the growing clean energy industry and result in higher energy costs for working families. On July 1, the Senate rejected the Rosen amendment by a vote of 47-53 (Senate roll call vote 364). YES IS THE PRO-ENVIRONMENT VOTE.
