Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) sponsored s.Amdt. 1466 to H.Con.Res. 14, the Senate Budget Resolution, to establish a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to prohibiting attacks on federal employees by protecting legally binding collective bargaining agreements and the right to organize. Protecting the right to organize and bargain collectively is integral to ensuring that federal workers maintain fair, safe, and equitable workplaces. It also ensures that federal programs and services are effectively and adequately staffed to best serve the public interest. On April 4, the Senate rejected S.Amdt. 1466 by a vote of 51 to 48. YES IS THE PRO-ENVIRONMENT VOTE.
