Representative Nita Lowey (D-NY) sponsored H.R. 6074, the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2020. This bill provided $8.3 billion in emergency funding for federal agencies to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. Much of this funding went towards vaccine development, research and equipment, and state and local health budgets. The House approved H.R. 6074 by a vote of 415-2 (two-thirds required for passage, House roll call vote 86). YES IS THE PRO-ENVIRONMENT VOTE.
