Family Planning and Population Research Act of 1970 (HR 19318). The bill authorized $180 million for family planning services and contraceptive research, and was strongly supported by Zero Population Growth. The Nixon Administration also supported the bill. (Passed 298-32. Nov. 16, 1970. “Yes” is the correct vote.)
